The Rec season runs from mid-April through mid-July for grades 4-9, and May/June for grades 10-12. Other than the end of season tournament, teams typically avoid scheduling practices and games on the weekend. Teams are made up of 12-13 players and 2-3 parent coaches per team. Edina Rec plays in the Southwest Community League with Eden Prairie, Chaska, Chanhassen, Shakopee and a few other communities. The season includes about 16 games (half home and half away) and concludes with an end of season weekend tournament (early July). League fee is $300 and an additional uniform fee is approx $50 (1 jersey and 1 hat).

Registration opens early February and closes March 30.  The Season Kick-off  is Sunday, April 12 at Breamar Dome. Players/coaches will meet each other, practice and receive season details.
